SiLFAS is an oblique light fluorescence adapter set for stereo microscopes.
Simply attach it to your stereo microscope to detect and observe fluorescent proteins such as GFP, YFP, and RFP, similar to a fluorescence stereo microscope.

How to use SiLFAS (Video)
Simply attach it to your stereo microscope
You don’t need to purchase a new microscope for SiLFAS! It can be attached to objective lenses with a diameter of up to 68 mm.
Supports multiple fluorescence types
You can start with a single fluorescence type and later expand to observe additional fluorescence types by purchasing additional light sources of Lamp Head and Filters.
The light source of Lamp Head is easily replaceable, allowing you to switch fluorescence types effortlessly.

Adjustable light intensity using the knob
The light source of Lamp Head features a knob for adjusting light intensity.
Turn the knob fully to the left to switch off (turning it right switches it on).

Observation with band-pass filters available
Royal Blue Green (RB-GO) replaces the long-pass filter in the RB set with a band-pass filter, allowing the detection of green fluorescence only while suppressing red background fluorescence from RB excitation light.

Two Types of Stands Available
The included mini tripod has a magnet, allowing it to be attached to any magnetic surface, such as a microscope stage.
An optional dedicated light stand is also available. The dedicated light stand allows the lamp head to be attached directly without using a BNC attachment, making it easier to attach and detach the lamp head.

Compatible with commercial camera accessories
The light source of Lamp Head can accommodate standard camera accessories, making it suitable for various applications.
Since it has a 1/4-inch screw hole, you can attach a tripod, for example.
- Please use the included adapter to directly connect the AC adapter to the light source head.
The following video explains how to attach the included mini tripod (a flexible tripod with a magnet that also serves as a camera adapter). Other accessories can be attached in the same way.
